Our Mission

Energy’s importance for the human existence cannot be overestimated. The systems that have provided energy for the greater part of the last century have centred on methods that deplete the earth. This is partly if not mostly, because, ‘greener alternatives‘ are difficult to coordinate and control.
Clean Energy Integration (cleaNRGi®) is an attempt to address this challenge.

Founded early 2017, cleaNRGi® is devoted to providing software and engineering solutions to the ongoing transformation of energy systems in many parts of the world.
Our ultimate goal is to contribute to a cleaner, safer and more efficient generation, transport, distribution and consumption of energy worldwide.
We believe a way of achieving these goals is to use evolving technologies such as AI and blockchain to develop innovative models and tools to examine how different existing energy networks, such as natural gas, electricity, hydrogen, heat and water networks, which have traditionally been operated independently can be interconnected to generate synergies and to increase the overall efficiency and reliability of current and future energy supply systems with high penetrations of renewable energy sources.

Dr. Kwabena A. Pambour

Kwabena has several years of experience as software consultant and engineer in the energy sector. He has a PhD in Energy Systems from the University of Groningen.

He has published and presented several peer reviewed articles at high level international conferences and in scientific journals.
He is the developer of the energy systems integration tool SAInt, which is used by NREL, the European Commission, University College Dublin, Lehigh University and other organisations.

Throughout his academic and professional career, Kwabena had the privelege to be awarded for his achievements: 

In 2004, he was awarded a six-year scholarship by Evangelisches Studienwerk e.V., one of 13 organisations sponsoring highly talented students in Germany.

In 2011, he was awarded the prestigious Springorum Medal by RWTH Aachen University, which is awarded to students who graduated with distinction.

In 2018, his startup cleaNRGi® was accepted to the E.ON :agile accelerator program, the startup program of the German energy company E.ON, which supports promising energy startups to accelerate their business.
